let me update once and for all again.

spent most of my time slacking at home because my parents dont allowed me to get out of the hse.

so if you are able to see me since holiday start till now, congrats. you are lucky =)

that is also the reason why i nv blog.. nth to blog..

14th SEPT 2007
well,
went to the Oktoberfest as those waitress. signed up long ago was told i was not selected. then laura called me the day before to inform me i got selected. and i got to wear a skirt.
hahaha. too bad folks, i didnt take a photo of it so you still cant see me in skirt~ wahahaha

reached there ard 3pm and met up with brandon and laura and we headed there. dinner provided and we stoned for 1 hr waiting for them to distribute the shirts.

changed into the shirt and then allocation of stations. i was with jayven, william, laura, brandon and shi tat with many others. then we stoned ard again and THE MOST UNFORTUNATE THING HAPPEN TO ME. there is this supervisor who approached our station with a girl and looked ard,
'you, come.'
she pointed to me and signal me over. so i go...
'huh?'
'you in charge of which table? this right? ok, you (point to the other girl) here. you(point to me), come.'
so so so so shocking la.. like bully me like that.. cause the girl she bring over was complained by HER because she talked too much. looking ard and you can see many people also talking lor.. and for sure this supervisor nv study OB before..
so i walked over with my HIGH HEELS AND SKIRT to a place i totally have no idea who stand beside me.

overall the experience is great. cause you got this irritating supervisor who asked you to clear any plates and mugs and glasses which are near to empty. and blamed whoever in charge of the table. it is described by my sister as the worse supervisor ever.

knocked off at 10.30pm while all the other knocked off at 2.30am.
WHAT THE HELL SIA~ EAT MY MONEY!
but got to know many people there. haha. all very helpful people=)

A Spanish teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.
''Pencil, 'however, is masculine: 'el Lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is a 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether 'computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun.


Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.
The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;
3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and
4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.


The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be masculine ('el computador'), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;
2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;
3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half thetime they ARE the problem; and
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

• 23th Aug 2007: Zhilin came over and we studied together. Mugged.
• 24th Aug 2007: InHT and OB exam.
• 25th Aug 2007: Match against Young Womens. plp 0 : young womens 8
  (we got only 3 substitutes.)
• 26th Aug 2007: Mugging

• 29th Aug 2007: End-of-semester examinations are over and it is the start of my holidays.
• 30th Aug 2007: Met up with hueyyun, Debbie and Lijuan to watch Hairspray!
• 31st Aug 2007: Teachers' Day celebration and i overslept which result in me not able to watch the concert.
• 31st Aug 2007: HelpedDeyi Girls Soccer Played in the Police Girls Cup on and clinched the Champion title by winning schools like:
  Holy Innocent High[1-0], (Preliminary Rounds)
  NUS High School[2-0], (Preliminary Rounds)
  National Under-17[1-0], (Preliminary Rounds)
• Greenview Sec[0-0], (Preliminary Rounds)
• Queensway Sec[1-0] (Preliminary Rounds) and
  Yishun Sec[0-0] (Preliminary Rounds)
  Whiltey Sec (quarter-final),
  National U-17 (Semi-final) and
  ZhengHua Sec (Final).
  All -final matches are played until penalty Shoot out (all 2-1 victory). Three-Cheers for all the team that have played and for the girl from greenview sec, Get well soon.
• 1st Sept 2007: Went Malaysia and missed participating in the match against UWC. had Steamboat and fun with my cousins. LiMei, all the best for your exam~
• 2nd Sept 2007: Went Kukup and ate delicious seafood. Headed back to Singapore with lots of snacks for me to grow fatter.
• 3rd Sept 2007: Pool-ed with my sister and i lost to her like usual. (but i'm better at jump balls and side pockets =) She's better at placing balls and planning)
• 4th Sept 2007: Woke up late as usual and chiong down deyi with agnes for the SL camp. they were geared up for the five way captain's ball. and we joined in as old birds. a whole day of fun and activities. SL excos, Well done! and old birds, still love the lot of us best!
• 5th Sept 2007: ROTTING AT HOME.
